Three incredible journeys, one amazing book.

“Thought provoking, intense and beautifully rendered, this was an engaging piece whichcould barely fail to stimulate some fascinating post-performance debate.” Darlington and Stockton Times

After two years of research, writing and devising, our second play THE BOOK –premiered at York Theatre Royal in summer 2014 before touring to Hull Truck, The Maltings Theatre, The Georgian Theatre Royal, Harrogate Theatre, The Stephen Joseph Theatre and the RADA Festival – London. THE BOOK will be back on the road in 2016.

“Scrolling backwards through time from future to present to past, three characters re-emerge across centuries, shaping the destiny of The Book. Inspired by contemporary events and tenth century Al Andalus, THE BOOK is a story of friendship and freedom. It poses the questions: how fixed are our identities? And how do we write a story of common humanity?”
Yorkshire Post
